HISTORY: THE ORIGIN

Founded in Turin in 1917 by Mario Zucco, IMIT (Il Manometro Italiano Torino) ,started the production of manometers, with more and more sophisticated models for more and more modern applications, for the most part destined for the growing auto industry. In the fifties, thanks to numerous patents and technological innovations, he began the production of thermostats, which remained the principal product for IMIT CONTROL SYSTEM up until the 80's. The technological evolution continued and the IMIT CONTROL SYSTEM products, hand-in-hand, became fundamental elements within a large number of equipment such as boilers, washing machines, burners and ovens. In the 80's IMIT CONTROL SYSTEM began to acquire a great deal of experience in the electronics field as well, following the pressing technological evolution. In a few years it became one of the major manufacturing firms of electronic equipment for temperature management, chronothermostats in particular. Today IMIT CONTROL SYSTEM is one of the leading companies in the design and production of systems for thermoregulation. IMIT CONTROL SYSTEM creates solutions for the most varied industrial applications, but also turns its attention with the same passion to the equipment for domestic use for the improvement of comfort. It was the first firm of the sector, in Italy, to obtain certification according to the UNI EN ISO 9001 rules. It is in the climate control area that IMIT CONTROL SYSTEM has obtained great results, considering not only the technical contents of our applications but also thinking of the final user in order to provide a product that is simple, flexible and secure, at a competitive price with guaranteed quality. From the foundation till today IMIT CONTROL SYSTEM has contributed to the raising of the technological standards and the improvement of the comfort and quality of life.

The development of control systems destined for the needs of thermoregulation requires laboratories capable of measuring and monitoring with precision all the physical magnitudes that are necessary for the successful design of every new product. Through various methods and instruments the development of our applications entails the measurement of temperatures, capacities, pressures and load losses of fluids and gas, of quantities of heat, energy consumption, relative humidity, noise, electrostatic discharge and electromagnetic interference.

Testing rooms for boilers
Testing rooms are dedicated to the measurements on boilers destined for the production of hot water for domestic use. All of the IMIT CONTROL SYSTEM products destined for the control of boilers are verified and tuned to the prototypes of our clients, measuring and refining all the physical parameters that are required for the comfort rating of the final user, such as the stability of the regulated temperature, the measurement precision of the sensors, the intervention rapidity of the actuators.
A dedicated data-logger, specially developed by IMIT CONTROL SYSTEM for these applications, allows for the monitoring and storing of each test and the effects of each variation produced in any component.
